The project started as a renovation of a 111 year-old house that had a claw foot tub.  It needed to be refinished inside and out and the people we talked to were tub glazing frsnchisees that didn't offer the confidence we were looking for.  We finslly found this gemtleman who explained in detail his appeoach and why it lasts a very long time compared to just costing a tub surface.  The price he offered seemed fair for the best possible outcome and a deal was struck.  He kept us informed at each stage and in the end, delivered a refinished, reglaed tub that was perfect.  A lost claw foot, before he ever became involved, was locared and replaced for a nominal additional cost of $25.  It was a pleasure working with them and receiving the benefit of quality workmanship.  Because gas prices had risen substantially between the estimate and and actual work, I offered to offset the gas cost difference for he and his assustant who also drive even further, and the offer was declined. My porcelain kitchen sink was stained beyond cleaning due to hard water rust. Impractical to replace the sink.

Recently, I had my cast-iron clawfoot tub reglazed by a company I thought was professional. The result was that my tub felt like an orange peel as it was not shiny certainly not glossy or smooth. I contacted Professional Glazing And Tub Repair, and asked if they could redo what had just been done and make my tub like new. They came and true to his word. my tub now looks fabulous! My tub is like glass, glossy and beautiful. It looks like it is brand new! I don’t have to do anything to keep it up, except wash it with a little dishwashing liquid and once a month sponge it with a little vinegar. I have talked to other people who have worked with this company 10 years ago and said their bathtub was still like brand new! I can’t say enough good things about this company and it’s owner, Roy!
